One hot contest …

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d do a contest. Because chocolate is all well and good, but you know what you really want for V-Day is free book stuff. 😎

Here are the prizes:

1) A Karma Girl T-shirt

2) A Hot Mama T-shirt

3) A signed copy of Hot Mama

4) A signed copy of Hot Mama

5) A signed copy of Hot Mama

And, of course, I’ll throw in bookmarks with all of these — and maybe a few surprises. All you have to do to enter the contest is leave a comment and tell me what your favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is. My favorite thing? Dark chocolate hearts. Mmm!

If you want to mention the contest on your blog or MySpace page, that’s cool, too, but not a requirement.

I’ll (hopefully) draw the winners Wednesday and announce everything on Thursday, Feb. 14.

Until then, happy reading! :ww:

My favorite thing about Valentines Day? Dark chocolate, more dark chocolate and the flowers my dad sends me every year.

  2. Cyn Balog says:

Being able to have more than one valentine (my husband and now my daughter, too!) and not feeling guilty about it. 😆

Favorite thing about Valentine’s? It’s not the chocolates — which give me headaches (woe!). It’s not the flowers, even though those are nice. It’s the tradition.

It’s me and the Spouse and another couple we’ve known for years going out to dinner at a sushi restaurant where one of us doesn’t get served what we wanted, much less at the same time as everyone else, year after year, without fail.

It’s the four of us going to the cheesiest Valentine’s Day Date Movie that’s come out that week.

It’s the four of us exchanging the silliest Valentine’s Day cards we find — Spiderman or Superman or Bratz Girls or three-dimensional holographic bugs with eyes that pop out of the cardboard.

It’s the spending time with friends we’ve known forever. It’s the doing everything you’re supposed to do on Valentine’s Day and doing it wrong. Or right. It’s the doing this tradition year after year for nearly ten years.

That’s my favorite thing about Valentine’s Day.

My favorite thing about valentine’s day is the little sweetheart candies. Man I love those.

My favorite thing about Valentine’s is I always get to have a hot date with my husband. We have been married 18 years and have 2 children. My husband works 12 hours swing shifts and he isn’t home as much as I would like him to be. So I always look forward to our hot dates.

  6. Jeri Smith-Ready says:

My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is the DH and I making fun of Valentine’s Day and pretending we’re too cool to care about it…

…then going out to a romantic dinner and coming home to snuggle in front of one of “our” movies (usually MY BLUE HEAVEN) and then…fade to black.

    😛

My dad used to bring home three flowers every Valentine’s day. One red for my mom, one pink for me, and one yellow for my little sister. That is my favorite Valentine’s memory. Now that I’m married with two girls of my own, my favorite thing is NOT COOKING DINNER!

  8. Cathy in AK says:

My favorite things are guilt-free chocolate and watching my youngest daughter put her heart into creating Valentines for her classmates, teachers and school staff.

  9. Krystal says:

Oh cool Jennifer you have T-shirts of KARMA GIRL and HOT MAMA! Way!

O.k. what is not to love about Valentine’s day? Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! Then, romance with my favorite guy! Hmm…now who would that be? My hubby!

Absolute favorite thing? The whole freaking day! Love it! From the flowers, romance, dinner out with my hubby, making goo-goo eyes at each other at the table, and playing foostie with him. Absolutely – love – it!

  11. Crystal B. says:

My favorite things about Valentine’s Day are chocolate, roses, red and pink decorations and the romance.

  12. Jeanette Jackson says:

My favorite thing about Valentine’s day is not having to cook dinner because my husband takes me out for dinner

My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is getting something unexpected. Once I got 2 or 3 carnations from a few co-workers. I know that my husband loves me. I know that my son loves me, also. So that is nothing new, but somehow, I always manage to get something unexpected. Once, when were dating in college, my husband took off from classes (he was at another college about 2 – 3 hours away) and showed up at my dorm room, got my roommate to let him in, and he waited for me to get back from classes. He had brought me two carnations. Doesn’t seem like much, but it really made my day. See what I mean, something unexpected!:wink:

My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is that I have someone to share it with. After failed marriages and lonely years, I am lucky to have had a valentine for the past 14 years.

My favorite thing about V-day is that my husband and I both blow it off, and we’re in total agreement about that. I suppose that’s unromantic.

Hey, I just finished Karma Girl – it was great. I’m going to review it tonight on my blog, and I’m so glad I stopped by, because now I can mention this contest, too.

  17. RachaelfromNJ says:

My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is buying teddy bears at 75% off and candy at 75% off after the holiday! LOL 🙂 Yeah yeah I love my fiance too but who doesn’t love cheap candy and teddy bears!? 🙂 I’d love to win a copy of one of your books to give a friend as a gift.

  18. PurpleRanger says:

It’s a little late, but my favorite part of Valentine’s Day is the day after, when all of the remaining candy gets discounted 50%.
