Book #11The pre-order link for the audiobook for Poison Promise, Elemental Assassin #11, can be found by clicking here.

The audiobook will once again be available through Audible, and the always fabulous Lauren Fortgang will once again be doing the narration for Gin and the gang.

Click here to see all of my audiobooks that are available at Audible.

Also, I wanted to mention that if you buy e-books at Amazon, you can add Whispersync for Voice. Basically, you can switch back and forth between reading the e-book and listening to the audiobook. Usually, if you get the e-book at Amazon, you can get the Whispersync audiobook for about $4 or so. To see what I mean, check out the Amazon page for The Spider, Elemental Assassin #10.

Hope that everyone enjoys the audiobook. Happy listening!

Poison Promise first chapter online …

Book #11I wanted to let everyone know that I’ve posted the first chapter of Poison Promise, Elemental Assassin #11, on the website. To read the chapter, go here, scroll down, and click on the Read Excerpt tab.

Also, Poison Promise will be out on July 22. It is up for pre-order at most sites now, including the following:

    Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo / Audible

And here is the cover blurb for Poison Promise. This does contain spoilers for previous books in the series:

I specialize in making death wishes come true.

Pop quiz. Which do you think is deadlier: Burn, the nastiest drug ever to hit the mean streets of Ashland, or me, Gin Blanco, the assassin known as the Spider? Answer: Me—because I don’t kill you slowly.

Normally, drug dealers aren’t my department. But I’m turning up the heat on some relentless Burn-pushing thugs who won’t leave my friends alone. Pushers who have my cop sister beside herself with rage, so I’m stepping up to keep her from doing something stupid and getting herself killed. Once I’m in, I’m in, and these folks have picked their poison: the Spider’s venom. But even bad guys have their good days, and sometimes even my Ice and Stone magic isn’t enough. For behind the drug is a vicious vampire with a scientific eye for results. And behind him… trouble like I haven’t seen since I took down my legendary nemesis, Mab Monroe.

Hope everyone enjoys the sneak peak at the book. Happy reading!

    Spider’s Bite e-book on sale for $1.99 through May 2 …

Book #1Some of you may have seen this on my Facebook and Twitter sites already, but I wanted to let everyone know that the e-book of Spider’s Bite, Elemental Assassin #1, is on sale for $1.99 through Friday, May 2.

The Spider’s Bite e-book deal was originally at Barnes & Noble, but it looks like most of the other retailers, including Amazon and iTunes, have picked it up as well.

So I would check with your favorite e-book site and see if they have matched the price.

Spider’s Bite is available at the following sites: Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo

    Here is the book description:

My name is Gin, and I kill people.

They call me the Spider. I’m the most feared assassin in the South — when I’m not busy at the Pork Pit cooking up the best barbecue in Ashland. As a Stone elemental, I can hear everything from the whispers of the gravel beneath my feet to the vibrations of the soaring Appalachian Mountains above me. My Ice magic also comes in handy for making the occasional knife. But I don’t use my powers on the job unless I absolutely have to. Call it professional pride.

Now that a ruthless Air elemental has double-crossed me and killed my handler, I’m out for revenge. And I’ll exterminate anyone who gets in my way — good or bad. I may look hot, but I’m still one of the bad guys. Which is why I’m in trouble, since irresistibly rugged Detective Donovan Caine has agreed to help me. The last thing this coldhearted killer needs when I’m battling a magic more powerful than my own is a sexy distraction . . . especially when Donovan wants me dead just as much as the enemy.

Oh, Gin. Things were so much simpler back then, weren’t they? You’ve made a lot more enemies since that first book. LOL.

Hope that everyone enjoys the e-book deal. Happy reading!

    Black Widow cover revealed …

Black WidowToday, I am happy to share the cover art for Black Widow, Elemental Assassin #12.

Isn’t it cool? The art was once again done by the fabulous Tony Mauro, and I believe the cover model is Alexa, who has been Gin on all the covers so far. I think Tony and Alexa have really outdone themselves this time. This is one of my favorite covers of the whole series.

Spoiler warning: And here is the back cover copy for Black Widow. Please note that this does contain some spoilers, so if you absolutely do not want to be spoiled, you may want to skip reading the next few paragraphs.

There’s nothing worse than a cruel, cunning enemy with time to kill—and my murder to plan.

With wicked Fire elemental Mab Monroe long gone, you’d think I could finally catch a break. But someone’s always trying to take me down, either as Gin Blanco or my assassin alter-ago. Now along comes the Spider’s new arch-nemesis, the mysteriously named M. M. Monroe, who is gleefully working overtime to trap me in a sticky web of deceit.

The thing is, I’m not the only target. I can see through the tangled threads enough to know that every bit of bad luck my friends have been having lately is no accident—and that each unfortunate “coincidence” is just one more arrow drawing ever closer to hitting the real bulls-eye. Though new to Ashland, this M. M. Monroe is no stranger to irony, trying to get me, an assassin, framed for murder. Yet, as my enemy’s master plan is slowly revealed, I have a sinking feeling that it will take more than my powerful Ice and Stone magic to stop my whole life from going up in flames.

Black Widow will be published on Nov. 25. It is up for pre-order at Amazon, iTunes, and Books-A-Million. It should be up on Barnes & Noble and all the other usual book sites soon. The audio book will once again be available through Audible, although that pre-order link probably won’t go up until sometime in the fall.

In the meantime, hope everyone enjoys the cover. Cheers!

Elemental Assassin #12 title announced …

Today, I am pleased to share the title for Elemental Assassin #12.

And the title is … Black Widow.

Woot! I think it fits in well with the other spider-themed titles in the series. This is a title that my editor, my agent, and I have considered for some of the other books in the series, so it was just a matter of time until we finally used it. How could I write about an assassin codenamed the Spider and not use this title at some point? LOL.

And just because I know somebody will comment on it, this book does not feature Scarlett Johansson or her superhero alter-ego.

Spoiler warning: And here is the back cover copy for Black Widow. Please note that this does contain some spoilers, so if you absolutely do not want to be spoiled, you may want to skip reading the next few paragraphs.

    Cheers!
