Back to Dillon …

Oh, Coach Taylor. How I’ve missed you and the rest of the gang on Friday Night Lights. And now, I can finally, finally, see what you’ve been up to on NBC.

There’s Tyra, so desperately trying to get into college and out of Dillon. Poor Matt Saracen with his new QB competition. Injured Smash, still trying to make his dream of playing football come true. Tim and Lyla, who are attempting to be a real couple. Tami Taylor, the new principal. Annoying Julie. Quirky Landry. And, of course, Buddy Garrity and his dreams of a jumbotron.

Seriously, folks, this is a great show. It’s about real people with real problems who don’t live in New York or L.A. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The only football team I care about is the Dillon Panthers. Being a Directv guy, I have already seen the new season and I was so happy to got to spend more time in Dillon.

Friday Night Lights looks different from any show that I watch. The way it is filmed gives it a look that makes it seem more real.

Battlestar Galactica is back for the final ten episodes, which I’m really excited about. Plus it is only one more day until Lost. Lost was great last season — And I can’t wait for the new season to start.

The show I can’t wait to love is Dollhouse(Feb 13th). How can you go wrong with Joss Whedon? You can’t!
Battlestar! Friday’s episode, WOW. I’m happy about FNL showing on NBC.
But mostly its all about Dollhouse for me.

Brian — I’ve heard a lot of good things about the FNL season, so I’m hoping it lives up to the hype.

I don’t watch BG so I don’t know much about that show. I’m pretty meh about Lost coming back. I just don’t see how the writers can explain everything (moving the island, the smoke monster, etc.) in a way that makes any kind of sense.

And I have reached the point where I hate Jack’s character. Seriously, I wish they would kill him off. I do want to see more of Sun being a bad-ass, though, and the Sayid and Hurley dynamic looks interesting.

Shannon — I’m looking forward to Dollhouse too. I hope it’s as good as Buffy. Fingers crossed!
