Venom is here …

Elemental Assassins Book #3 - VenomVenom, the third book in the Elemental Assassin series,ย has finally been released. So happy release day to me! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!

Okay, I’ll quit huzzahing now. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m super excited about this book for so many reasons. The early reviews that I’ve seen online have all been great, and everyone seems to like this book even more than Spider’s Bite and Web of Lies. As an author, that’s what you want to hear — that every book is better than the last one and that folks are already looking forward to reading the next installment (Tangled Threads in this case, which comes out April 26, 2011).

Also, I really think this is one of the pivotal books in the series. So many things happen in this one, but namely, Gin makes a lot of decisions about her life — what she’s going to do about her long-lost sister Bria, how she feels about Donovan Caine and Owen Grayson, and how she’s going to get her revenge on Mab Monroe. In between all this, you have the usual rounds of action, fight scenes, and yummy food descriptions at the Pork Pit. There’s a lot going on in the book, but I think I tie it together pretty well in the end.

I’ve been so amazed by the reader response to the series so far. Knowing that folks read and enjoy my books truly is a great feeling, and I always try to deliver the best book that I can.

Anyway, I hope everyone has as much fun reading the book as I did writing it. Happy reading, everyone! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I just finished reading it. I have to admit, this one is the best one yet! The action is great and the new development with Owen is too die for. Having Bria in the picture just makes it that much more interesting.
I have to admit, now that I have finished it, I’m already looking forward to the next one. I want to see how Mab is going to handle this new situation. Great work on this one, so cheers to you!

I loved Venom, me and my friends were counting down the days : ) and we are really looking forward to the next book and i can already see stuff happening between Bria and Finn and i have a funny feeling we will be seeing that Philip guy again. I was sooo sad about Donovan in last book so naturally i was anti-Owen haha but i see now that Owen is defintely a better man all around for Gin. Thanks Jennifer for great reading material ! Im already counting down to the next book! Oh and i love how in the last two books and even the short stories you mentioned Bigtime hehe loved it!

Hi, Amanda! Cool. Glad that you and your friends enjoyed the book and are looking forward to TANGLED THREADS. And that you like Owen too. If you haven’t checked them out yet, there are several free short stories on the Excerpts page of the website.

I try to give a little shout-out to the Bigtime series in all of my books. ๐Ÿ˜‰

my wife and I read paranormal fiction all the time from Jim Butcher, J.D.Robb, Kim Harrison, Sherrilyn Kenyon and Jacqueline Carey just to name a few. I just read back to back “Spiders Bite” and “Web of Lies”. Your ability to paint a picture with words and weave an interesting story is right up there with the proven greats. I’m looking forward to reading “Venom”. Thank you for broadening our list of favorite authors.
