But keep in mind these aren’t good words or final words. This is just a rough draft. At this point, I’m just trying to get the story down. I just crank out the rugh draft as fast as I can. Some writers call it “puke mode,” for lack of a better phrase.

Later on, I’ll go back and read through and see what works and what doesn’t. The second draft is really when I get into the heart of the book.

Thanks for the tip about Joan. I had no idea Scifi was rerunning it. I really enjoyed the first season, but I fell out of like during the second season. Some of the storylines (like Adam cheating on Joan) really didn’t work for me.
