We have them at my cousins’ house (they have a pool and hot tub and there’s a creek for the kids to play in).

We have lots of food too. This year, it looked like there were more desserts than anything else. We do love our cakes and treats. 😈

They’re just informal gatherings, but usually we are all present at least this often. It’s a food-fest with children running everywhere, and they’re actually pretty fun.

Once a year isn’t bad if you have a large family. It’s difficult to plan events where everyone can attend.
