Spartan Destiny, Mythos Academy spinoff #3, to be released Jan. 14 …

I will be self-publishing Spartan Destiny, Mythos Academy spinoff #3, on Jan. 14. Woot!

This will be the last book in the series. Spartan Destiny is up for pre-order:

    SPARTAN DESTINY EBOOK:

    SPARTAN DESTINY PRINT BOOK:

Booksellers and librarians can order print copies through IngramSpark.

    SPARTAN DESTINY AUDIOBOOK:

The Spartan Destiny audiobook will be released on March 24.

    SPARTAN DESTINY DESCRIPTION:

This Spartan makes her own destiny . . .

Most kids at the Colorado branch of Mythos Academy know me as Rory Forseti, the daughter of Reaper assassins. Secretly, I’m a member of Team Midgard, a group of students and adults tasked with stopping Covington, the evil leader of the Reapers of Chaos. For me, the mission is a deeply personal one, since Covington is also the man who murdered my parents.

When my friends and I get a lead on a powerful artifact that Covington wants to steal, we think we finally have a chance to thwart the Reapers and stop them for good. Team Midgard comes up with a plan, but everything goes sideways, and I’m suddenly in the fight of my life.

My worst fears might have come true, but I know what my Spartan destiny is—to save my friends, or die trying . . .

Note: This series is set in my Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy world. This is a spinoff series, and the new books star Rory Forseti, Gwen’s cousin from Midnight Frost and Killer Frost, books #5 and #6 in the original series. Gwen is NOT the heroine in these books, although she and some of the other characters from the original series make cameo appearances in the spinoff books.

I hope everyone enjoys the conclusion to Rory’s story when it is released. Thanks! 😎

AUDIOBOOKS AVAILABLE FOR SPARTAN HEART AND SPARTAN PROMISE:

Audiobooks are now available for Spartan Heart and Spartan Promise, books #1 and #2, in my Mythos Academy spinoff series. Woot! 😎

The audiobooks are narrated by Amanda Dolan.

I know many of you guys have been wanting the audiobooks, and I hope that you enjoy Rory’s adventures. Happy listening!

    SHARPEST STING EBOOK:

    SHARPEST STING PRINT BOOK:

Sharpest Sting is available in ebook for $5.99 and print book for $14.99. Note that the print book is a trade (larger) paperback like Venom in the Veins — not a smaller mass market like most of the other books in the series. The larger trade paperback is the only print format that I can self-publish. It’s either use that format or not do a print book at all.

Booksellers and librarians can order print copies through IngramSpark.

    ABOUT THE AUDIOBOOK:

There will be an audiobook for Sharpest Sting. Unfortunately, I do not have a release date for it yet. So if you want to read the book now, you will have to get the ebook or the print book. I’ll share more information about the audiobook on my social media sites as soon as it becomes available.

    SHARPEST STING DESCRIPTION:

The truth won’t set me free—but it will probably get me killed …

As Gin Blanco, aka the assassin the Spider, I’m used to having a target on my back. But ever since I started investigating the secret society known as the Circle, that target seems bigger than ever.

Still, I’m trying to relax and enjoy the events leading up to my friends’ wedding when I learn that an old enemy has returned to Ashland. And that’s the just beginning of my latest nightmare. Soon, I have Circle goons watching my every move, but I have no choice but to continue searching for a key piece of evidence against the evil group.

The deeper I dig, the more horrifying secrets I uncover, and the more dangerous things become for me and my friends. Just when I think I finally have a handle on things, a shocking revelation shatters my heart and leaves me with an ugly realization—that betrayal is the sharpest sting of all …

As of right now, I am planning to write one more book after Sharpest Sting to wrap up Gin’s storyline. Book #19 probably won’t be out until fall 2020 or later, depending on my writing deadlines.

I hope everyone enjoys Gin’s latest adventure. Happy reading! 😎

Read it now — Winter’s Web, Elemental Assassin novella #17.5, now available …

Read it now — Winter’s Web, Elemental Assassin #17.5, has been released. Woot!

Winter’s Web is $2.99 and is available at all the usual sites.

    WINTER’S WEB EBOOK:

The cover art was once again done by the awesome Tony Mauro, the artist for the books in the series.

Winter’s Web is a 27,000-word novella that takes place after the events of Venom in the Veins, book 17 in the Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series. Winter’s Web first appeared in the Seasons of Sorcery anthology in 2018.

    WINTER’S WEB NOVELLA DESCRIPTION:

An assassin at a renaissance faire. What could possibly go wrong? Everything, if you’re the Spider . . .

I might be Gin Blanco, aka the assassin the Spider, but even I need a break from the bad guys every now and then. So when Owen Grayson, my significant other, suggests a trip to the Winter’s Web Renaissance Faire, it sounds like a perfect distraction from all my problems.

The faire starts off innocently enough, but something seems slightly off about the cheery atmosphere and costumed characters. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but I can’t help but feel like I’m trapped in someone else’s icy web—and that they don’t want me to leave the faire alive . . .

Note: Winter’s Web is a 27,000-word novella that takes place after the events of Venom in the Veins, book 17 in the Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series. Winter’s Web first appeared in the Seasons of Sorcery anthology in 2018.

    MORE ABOUT WINTER’S WEB

Note #1: There will NOT be a print or audiobook version of the novella.

Note #2: The Seasons of Sorcery fantasy anthology also features novellas by Amanda Bouchet, Grace Draven, and Jeffe Kennedy.

I hope everyone enjoys Winter’s Web. Happy reading!
