    Happy Thanksgiving!

Kitty Boodle wants to wish everyone a Happy (early) Thanksgiving! 😊

Boodle likes to curl up under this bush and watch the birds and other critters in the yard. I love the little bits of color from the fall leaves scattered around her.

Thanksgiving is my favorite weekend of the year. Family, friends, food, football, holiday movies . . . I love it all.

I hope everyone has a good, safe holiday weekend filled with all the things that bring you joy and peace. I will be hanging out with Little Debbie and Kitty Boodle, eating way too many turkey sandwiches, putting up my holiday decorations, and watching lots of football and holiday rom-coms.

If anyone needs a book to read for the long holiday weekend, A Touch of Treachery, Section 47 book #3, and Only Rogue Actions, Galactic Bonds book #5, are both out now.

Also, my holiday signed book campaign is underway, and I am accepting pre-orders for the special edition of Only Bad Options.

Have fun and stay safe out there, especially if you are traveling during the long holiday weekend.

Happy reading and Happy Thanksgiving! ❤️

  • Happy holiday!

Kitty Boodle looking at the camera wondering where Santa is

In this photo, I feel like Kitty Boodle is cracking her eyes open like “Do I need to wake up? Is Santa here yet?!” 🐈

I’m going to take a few weeks off from blogging for the holidays. I hope to be back here Monday, Jan. 5.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season filled with all the pets, people, places, and treats you love. Thank you for reading and the happiest of holidays to you all! ❤️

  • Happy Holidays!

‘Tis the season for holiday celebrations. Woot! 😎

I will spend some time with Little Debbie and Kitty Boodle, along with my dad and stepmom. Food will be eaten, presents will be opened, and Boodle will get lots of scritches.

I also hope to have lunch – and/or a hot chocolate-dessert meetup – with some friends. I also like to text/call/message my cousins and other friends who live in different states and let them know that I’m thinking about (and missing) them.

One thing I do that’s a little unusual is that I will usually start taking my tree down on Christmas Day. As soon as we open presents, I am itching to put all the decorations away, put all the furniture back where it is supposed to go, and clean up my glitter-ball disaster of a house.

Christmas is over, nothing to see here, time to move on.

I enjoy the holiday season, although all the cooking, shopping, wrapping, and decorating is a *lot* of work. So is the family drama that so often comes along with holiday gatherings. Don’t forget to take care of yourself during this busy, stressful time of year.

I was going to do some yoga, but as you can see in this photo, Kitty Boodle decided she wanted to plop down on my old yoga mat. She looked so cute that I took her picture. ? #Iameasilyswayedbycuteness

I hope everyone has a great holiday season filled with family, friends, food, and all the things you love, along with great new books to read.

Thank you for reading. Cheers to all!

What are some of your holiday celebrations/traditions?

    MONDAY MORNING MAILBAG

Question: How do you celebrate Thanksgiving?

Answer: Thanksgiving is my favorite weekend/holiday of the year. Family, friends, food, football, holiday decorations and movies … I love it all.

For starters, I will hang out with Little Debbie and Kitty Boodle and eat way too many turkey sandwiches. I also hope to see some other family members/friends this week.

Photo of gray cat sitting on a blue blanketSpeaking of Boodle, here is a photo of Her Royal Diva Highness. As you can see, Boodle is ready for her first of many naps this week.

I also like to put my Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving morning while I watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. If things get really wild and crazy, I might even read a book for fun (gasp!) instead of re-reading one of my own books for work for the umpteenth time. 😆 #letsnotgetcrazyJennifer

I will do some work this weekend, but mostly, I just hope to slow down and relax for a few days and remember how much I have to be thankful/grateful for this year.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, food, football, and all the things you love. Thank you for reading. Happy Thanksgiving! 😎

  • Holiday break — See you in the New Year …

I’m taking a blogging break for the holidays. I’ll see you all back here on Monday, Jan. 8.

I hope everyone has a terrific holiday season filled with all the people, activities, decorations, food, and other things you love and enjoy. And, of course, dozens of awesome books to read. Cheers! 😎
