Okay, just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve got a few more guest blogs set up for this week, and a big event over at Bitten by Books in Feb. 18. After that, I’m done with guest blogs/interviews for a while — or at least until Web of Lies comes out in late May. ๐
I also went ahead and started a Jennifer Estep fan page over at Facebook. Folks can post about my books over there, and I’ll pop in to answer questions and do updates.
So far, I think the release of Spider’s Bite has gone really, really well. Generally speaking, I’ve gotten more e-mails and more interest in this book than for all of my Bigtime books — combined. In the last two weeks, I’ve gotten more positive e-mails from folks who have read and enjoyed the book than I got for any of my Bigtime books. Also, there are already more reviews up at Amazon and B&N for Spider’s Bite than for my Bigtime books. It just seems like folks are more interested in the dark, gritty reads these days. So I’m hopeful that all of this will translate into good sales.
And I just wanted to take a minute to says thanks to everyone who’s read the book and e-mailed me about it or commented on all the blog posts that I’ve been doing. Writing is a hard, lonely business, and knowing that folks are interested in my books really does make it all worthwhile. So thanks everyone! ๐
During February, I’m going to be the featured author over at Drey’s Library. new posts will go up every Wednesday of the month — Feb. 3, 10, 17, and 24 — starting today. Check it out! ๐
Is over at Debuts & Reviews. Check it out!
With Spider’s Bite coming out on Jan. 26 (9 days to go!), I’ll be doing a ton of guest blogs and interviews over the next few weeks. So instead of try to blog here and other places, I’m just going to link to my blog of the day here.
I’ve got several interviews lined up, and I’m blogging about everything from how we came up with the titles for the Elemental Assassin books to what it was like to switch genres to how I made Gin Blanco an assassin and still a likable character at the same time. There’s some good stuff that will be out there, so I hope everyone clicks on the links and checks out the guest blogs.
And yes, several of the blogs will have book giveaways with them. ๐
