    The Bigtime Series: Volume 1 set for May 7 …

    Question: Why are you releasing bundles of your Bigtime books?

    The Bigtime Series: Volume 1 ā€” Purple city skyline with red banner and tiny superheroesAnswer: I will be releasing two bundles of my Bigtime superhero paranormal romance books this year:

    I released a Bigtime bundle several years ago, but I feel like a lot of people just never saw it. I thought doing some bundles would be a less expensive way for readers to check out the Bigtime series.

    The Bigtime Series: Volume 1 ā€” Pink city skyline with yellow banner and tiny superheroesI also wanted to change the bundle/book order to make it more cohesive. For example, I think it makes more sense to putĀ Karma Girl and A Karma Girl Christmas together in one bundle since they both feature the same character in Carmen Cole, even though A Karma Girl Christmas — holiday novella #3.5 — takes place later in the series.

    And finally, I wanted to make the bundles shorter. I think a bundle that features a couple of books is much easier and a lot less daunting to read than a bundle that contains 10 or more books. But, as always, your mileage may vary.

    Both bundles are ebook only. There will not be print versions, although you can order print versions of each book separately.

    Also, there are no audiobooks for any of my Bigtime books, and no plans to produce audiobooks at this time. If that ever changes, I will post about it online.

    Spinnenzeit, Elemental Assassin #10, has been published in German …

    A quick update for my German readers about some new and upcoming book releases by yours truly.Ā 

    Spinnenzeit, book #10 in my Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series, has been released in German.

    This book is called The Spider in English. This book is a prequel story that shows how Gin Blanco became the assassin the Spider. It is set several years before the events of Spider’s Bite, the first book in the series.

    Here is a look at the cover art. I always think it’s so interesting how the U.S. covers differ from the German covers. Almost all of my German covers have a white background, while only one of my U.S. books — Widow’s Web, Elemental Assassin #7 — has a cover with a white background. I think the German covers are really cool. I like their minimalist look.

    Also, if you like superheroes, Karma Girl and a couple of the other books in my Bigtime superhero series have also been released in German.

    Hard Frost, book #2 in my Mythos Academy Colorado series, will be released on Oct. 2 in German. Like the first book, this one also follows the adventures of Rory Forseti, a Spartan warrior who attends the Colorado branch of Mythos Academy.

    As of right now, there will be three books in this series. I’m not sure when book #3 will be released in German.

    When I get a firm release date, I will try to share that on my Facebook and Twitter pages. You can also sign up for my email newsletter to stay up to date on all my book releases.

    Also, this book will be called Spartan Promise in English. I’m hoping to release Spartan Promise in English in January/February 2019, but it depends on my writing deadlines. We’ll see what happens.

    Some of you have seen these online already, but I have put some new covers on my Bigtime superhero paranormal romance series. The books are still the same, but I wanted to update the cover art and give the series more of a comic-book feel.

    The covers are all so cool that I don’t know which one is my favorite. Maybe A Karma Girl Christmas, or Nightingale, although I really like them all. šŸ™‚ Which new cover do you guys like the best?

    If you’ve never checked out the series, my Bigtime books are paranormal romances that feature superheroes and ubervillains. They are very fun, zany, and campy — sort of like the Batman show with Adam West or Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter.

    As of right now, I do not have plans to write any more books in myĀ Bigtime series. I’m currently writing three other series — Elemental Assassin, Mythos Academy spinoff, and Kill the Queen epic fantasy series — which is all that I can juggle. So theĀ BigtimeĀ series is the odd series out. I hope to get back to it someday, although I have no idea when that might be. Not anytime soon, though.

    The books (with the new covers) are available at all the usual sites in ebook format — Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, etc. The books are also available in print format from Amazon and will be available in print format from Barnes & Noble and Ingram in the next few weeks — in case you work in a bookstore and want to order some print copies.
