This was my 1st RT and it was a blast. I too wished I had gotten out more to see the city but the con kept me so busy.

I will definitely get out more in August when I go to AAD in Savannah.

It’s always a little tough trying to get out and see some of the sights and still going to all of the events that I want to. The thing I liked about KC was that there was some stuff to see/do within walking distance of the hotel. That’s always a plus.

Some of my KY author friends went and had a lot of fun meeting everyone! Hopefully I’ll get to go next year, but we’ll see. I think the thing I love best about hearing the authors talk about this event is how much fun they have getting to meet other authors. Of course it’s always nice to meet someone who is a fan of yours, but how cool must it be to meet someone you’re a fan of and find out they’re a fan of yours as well!
