It’s positively encouraging! I love receiving books as gifts and I have been given some beauties!
Like your book recommendations! They with go on my TBR list. You mention light adult romance reads….and while that’s not really a preferred genre for me, a FB book club did get me to read “Maybe Someday” by Colleen Hoover. Very worthwhile.
My current favorite ‘who done it’ , Harry Dresden. Just started book 9 of the series.
Got a Kindle Paper White for Christmas last year and I do love it.

Over the Christmas season, Amazon offered a 6″ Kindle Fire for $99 – that’s less than I paid for my Kindle Paperwhite! So I passed the Paperwhite onto my kid and gave myself the gift of the Fire – wonderful device! I can read, surf, etc. I love it!

I would recommend “The Five Doctors” — the 20th anniversary episode. It’s probably my favorite episode.
