I wouldn’t say that’s cheap. The economy’s in the toilet, and times are tough. People really have to think about what they spend their money on these days.

I never buy hardcovers from the bookstore. I always get them on Amazon because the discount is so much greater there — sometimes as much as $10 or more. You’ve got to save money where you can these days.

I’ve been wondering what my limit is for spending on one book. This week I couldn’t bring myself to spend $23 on a new novel, even though I really wanted it. I picked it up and looked at it, I even made a first step away from the shelf with it — But I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it. I did the same thing with A.J. Jacobs book, I just couldn’t pull the trigger. I hope I haven’t become cheap.

And I haven’t changed my blog exactly. I’ve hit a button somewhere, and my formatting has disappeared. I’m waiting on my Web site guy to fix it. This is what I get for pushing buttons when I don’t know what I’m doing … :rolleyes:
