SBTB is a daily must-read, and it’s brought me back to romance. Really looking forward to this book!
Love Jennifer Crusie – she was a guest speaker at a conference here a few years ago, and she’s been the one I’ve always been able to convince non-romance readers to try.
Great dialogue is a must.

Particularly in novels published in the last decade, I love the portrayal of women.

My favorites tend to be Georgette Heyer and Julia Quinn – both of them sparkle at dialog and make me feel happy.

I started out on Johanna Lindsey romance and still have a large place in my heart for Gentle Rogue as my favorite romance of all time. I do love some historicals, but lately I’m also way into paranormal.

Congratulations SB Sarah on the new book. I’m really excited to read it. What I love about reading romance novels is that automatic connection it gives you to other readers of the genre. This year I’ve become friends with 3 fantastic girls all because I mentioned that I like romance novels one afternoon while we were chatting. Romance readers are so willing to share their knowledge of what books are out there that you *have* to read it just makes me smile. At the moment I’m tracking down the final book in Eloisa James’ Desperate Duchess series. It’s been out for a while but I only recently discovered the series so I’m catching up 🙂
