I love the Georgian era. Something about the idea of totally masculine guys running around with peacock blue or yellow waistcoats, powdered hair, and jeweled shoe buckles just sounds so yummy to me.

I’m so glad you wrote a WWII romance – we need more of those. I’m sure there are so many great stories to tell.

Andrea, I adore the Victorian era as well. My Christies series (FLAWLESS and STARLIGHT to date) is Victorian, and holy moly–those clothes! I appreciate that you stopped by today!

By far, the Victorian era is the one that seems the most romantic to me. Maybe it’s the way people were expected to comport themselves in the eye of society, or the elegant dresses and balls—it all just seems so romantic.

Oh, I didn’t see this post until this morning. Usually, when I think historical romance, I think pre-industrial revolution era. However, I’m all about looking into new types of books to read and get ideas off of. I also love the art style of the posters from the World War II era, and I am thrilled the cover reflects that.
