The reason I got The Hating Game from the library is that new-to-me authors are always a crapshoot. I’m rather picky about writing styles so I often find that I don’t love books that lots of other people are raving about.

I just realized `Import of Intrigue’ isn’t coming out in October, it’s coming out in November. Sorry for giving the wrong date. (I suppose I should stop looking for a `your pre-order is in’ message until next month. Sigh.)

I haven’t heard of that one. I’ll have to check it out sometime. I read THE HATING GAME a few weeks ago. Overall, it was cute, but I don’t think I liked it as much as everyone else did.

I’ve heard it’s good, so even though it’s a dystopian, which I don’t usually read, I’m looking forward to it. I also just got The Hating Game, by Sally Thorne, from the library, another book that’s gotten rave reviews, so those are the next two books on my TBR mountain.

It’s the second book in his Maradain Constabulary series. I love a good fantasy/mystery and I really enjoyed the first book `A Murder of Mages’. He has another series set in the same world, which is about a magic wielding superhero. The first book is `The Thorn of Dentonhill.’ I enjoyed that a lot, too.
