Easter Eggs
One of my favorite things to do is put Easter eggs in my books. What’s an Easter egg? It’s a reference in one book to something else in another one of my books. Basically, a fun reference or amusing inside joke for readers, especially folks who have been reading my books/series for a long time.
In my books, a character in my Elemental Assassin series might wear a suit designed by a fashion designer who’s a character in my Bigtime superhero series. Or a character in one of my young-adult series might talk about eating at the Pork Pit barbecue restaurant, which is a big part of my Elemental Assassin series.
I often use Kitty Boodle (my mom’s cat) as an Easter egg in my books, so if you see a reference to a “boodle kitty” in my Galactic Bonds series of something similar in my Section 47 series, this is the reason why.
I hope everyone enjoys the book Easter eggs, and the Kitty Boodle cuteness on this page!
Kitty Boodle
Kitty Boodle (aka Boodle, Boodles, Boo-Boo, Kitty Boo-Boo, Sweet Kitty) belongs to Little Debbie, aka my mom, but I love Boodle like she is my own.
I love sharing photos and telling little stories about Boodle in my newsletter. She is quite the demanding diva, and she knows exactly how adorable and spoiled she is. Enjoy the cuteness! 😺
