Deadly Sting blog tour coming up …

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the blog tour for Deadly Sting, Elemental Assassin #8, will be kicking off around March 21 and running through about the first week of April.

I’ll be doing some Q&As, along with some excerpts. I’m trying to do the excerpts in order, so if you follow the blog tour and read the excerpts, you’ll be able to read some scenes from the book — in this case, part of Chapter 2.

As always, a big thanks to all the blogs for hosting me, and I hope everyone enjoys all the excerpts and Q&As. Happy reading!

Mythos Academy news and notes …

Today, I thought I would do a round-up of some of the things going on with my Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy series:

    1) Some folks had been asking me about the e-book pre-order links for Midnight Frost, book five that will be out on July 30. From what I’ve been told, the e-book pre-order links usually go up about six months before the book comes out.

I’m happy to report that the Kindle pre-order link is up now. So is the Nook pre-order link and the one over at iTunes. The book should be available in all of the usual e-book formats — Kindle, Nook, iTunes, etc. So go forth, and pre-order, if you so choose.

And, of course, the print book pre-order links for Midnight Frost are already up at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and other booksellers.

    2) I’ve mentioned this before, but my Mythos Academy books are being released as audio books.

Basically, the digital audio books will be available through Audible, while the physical CDs will be available through Brilliance Audio. You can also get the physical CDs through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and other booksellers. (For brevity’s sake, the links below go to Amazon.)

Touch of Frost and Crimson Frost have already been released. Amazon says that the digital download of Kiss of Frost will be released on March 19, but it looks like you can already get the physical CDs of that book. (And no, I have no idea why it is that way.) Dark Frost should be out on April 19.

    3) At this time, First Frost, the prequel e-story, and Spartan Frost, the e-story from Logan Quinn’s point of view, will not be available as an audio books, but that may change in the future. We’ll see what happens.

And that’s a wrap for now.

    Spartan Frost cover revealed …

Spartan FrostI’m happy to share the cover for Spartan Frost, an e-story in my Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy series.

Please note that even though Gwen is on the cover, the story is actually from Logan’s point of view — not Gwen’s. In fact, the whole story is from Logan’s point of view. I can’t really say any more without getting into spoilers, but I wanted to make it clear that this is a Logan story.

Here’s the description. Again, this does have spoilers for earlier books in the series, especially Crimson Frost, so if you haven’t read that far, you may want to skip reading the description:

I’m Logan Quinn, the deadliest Spartan warrior at Mythos Academy. At least I was — until the day I almost killed Gwen Frost.

Professor Metis and Nickamedes say that I’m fine, that Loki and the Reapers don’t have a hold on me anymore, but I can’t risk it. I can’t risk hurting Gwen again. So I’m leaving Mythos and going somewhere far, far away.

I know Gwen wonders what’s happening to me, whether I’m safe.  I can’t tell her, but this is my story …

Basically, Spartan Frost tells what happened to Logan after the events of Crimson Frost and leads up to the events of Midnight Frost (book five, which is due out in July 30). I got several e-mails asking what happened to Logan, so hopefully, the e-story will fill in some of the gaps, as well as giving folks a better understanding of Logan.

Spartan Frost is about 14,000 words, and it will be priced at $1.99. It will be released on June 25 as an e-book only. Spartan Frost is up for pre-order at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It will be available in all the usual e-book formats, and if it’s not up for pre-order yet with your favorite e-bookseller, then it should be going up soon.

Hope everyone enjoys the look at the cover.
