    And that’s a wrap (again) …

So the blog tour for Spider’s Revenge has (mostly) wrapped up. I want to give a big thanks to all the bloggers who hosted me on their sites, as well as everyone who took the time to read and review the book. I really appreciate all you guys do to support books. You guys rock! 😉

I am in the process of mailing out the books to the folks who won copies of Spider’s Revenge through the various blogs, as the winners’ info is sent to me. So please be patient if you won, and you haven’t received your book yet.

So far, the response to Spider’s Revenge has been really, really great. I’ve gotten a lot of nice comments on the book, and I’m glad folks seem to be enjoying the Gin-Mab story arc in this one.

I’ll be doing a few more guest blogs in October and November. Some of those will be for the Elemental Assassin series, and some will be for the Mythos Academy series. I’ll post the links to those here on the blog and my other social media sites.

And now, it’s time to gear up again and start thinking about Kiss of Frost, Mythos Academy #2, which will be out on Nov. 29. I’ll be doing another blog tour for that book, starting around Nov. 21 or so and probably running into the first week or two of December.

In the meantime, I’ll be getting back to my regular Monday-Wednesday-Friday posting schedule here on the blog, as well as linking to everything on my Facebook and Twitter pages. I’ve got a ton of books to review as well as some updates to share on my various books and projects. So stay tuned for more …

New York Times bestseller, baby …

Well, I guess I can cross this off my bucket list. Spider’s Revenge hit the New York Times bestseller list. Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! I can’t stop huzzahing! 🙂

    Okay, okay, I’ll stop huzzahing.

Spider’s Revenge hit #27 on the print list and #35 on the e-book list (the various extended NYT lists go to #35). This is the first time I’ve ever hit the NYT list. My agent called me yesterday evening with the news while I was meeting with my local book/writing/critique group, interestingly enough. The book is also #88 on the USA TODAY bestseller list (that list goes to #150).

I just want to give a big, big thanks to all the readers out there, along with all the bloggers, reviewers, booksellers, librarians, and everyone else who loves and promotes books. The response to the Elemental Assassin series has been so great, and I’ve gotten so many nice comments and e-mails about Gin and the gang. I’m happy folks are enjoying reading about her and all her adventures. I hope to be writing about her for a long time to come.

I also want to give a big, big thanks to my agent, my editor, and everyone at Pocket Books and Simon & Schuster for all their hard work on the books/series, as well as Tony Mauro for all the great cover designs.

A big, big thanks also goes out to Wheezley, my significant other for putting up with all the book talk over the years; the ladies in my book group for all their help; and all the other authors/bloggers/reviewers/etc. who have answered my many questions and been so generous with their time and knowledge over the years.

And finally, I want to thank my mom. My mom used to take me to the library every Saturday when I was a kid, which is how I fell in love with reading and books in the first place. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for her. So thank you, Mom. You have given me more than you will ever know.

Anyway, I’m still doing the happy dance. Thanks so much, everyone!
