    Updates, updates, updates …

    So I’ve finally finished updating the Web site. I’ve added the new mass market covers, tweaked the frequently asked questions and other features, and posted some character quotes from Jinx on the Links & Fun page.

    If there’s some other feature about the Bigtime books or writing or whatever you’d like to see on the Web site, leave me a comment here. I’ll try to post another excerpt or two from Jinx a little closer to the release date (Sept. 2, less than six months away now. Where has the first third of the year gone already?).

    Please forgive the typos. I’m sure there are many. But for now, enjoy! :buttercup:

  • Coming soon …

    Okay, I finalized my order for the Jinx bookmarks this morning. It usually takes the company about two weeks to print and ship the bookmarks to me, so I’m guessing they’ll show up on my doorstep around March 24 or so.

    When I get the bookmarks, I’ll post on how you can get some freebies. Or, if you’re one of the folks going to the Romantic Times convention this year, I’ll have bookmarks on hand there during the big book signing on April 19.

    Busy, busy, busy …

    So, I’m finally getting around to accomplishing some of the stuff on my to-do list. I’m checking over page proofs for the mass market version of Hot Mama, and I’m working on the copy edits for Jinx.

    I’m also starting to (very slowly) update the Web site. I was wondering — what sort of teasers would you guys like to see from Jinx? I’m going to keep the who’s who character encyclopedia and quotes from the book, but I was curious as to what else readers might like to see. Another excerpt? Fun facts? Something else?

    jinx.jpgAsk, and you shall receive. What did I spy in my inbox today? The new cover for Jinx! Out of the three covers, I think this one is my favorite — or maybe that’s just because I’m excited about folks being able to read the book soon.

    Well, okay, not soon. But Sept. 2 will be here before you know it. Can anyone else believe it’s almost Easter? It seems like yesterday I was taking down my Christmas tree.

    Not sure if I made this clear or not, but Jinx is coming out as a mass market paperback. Those are the smaller paperbacks. I think it will be a good switch for me, as the mass markets are only $7-8, instead of the $14 of the trade paperbacks. Anyway, I’m hoping the cheaper price will get more folks to try the books and result in more sales — which would mean I could write more Bigtime adventures.
