Amy -- If that's the way they're going to be, I have to do it. Gas is too high for me to only do 10 during one trip! And I might get a little enjoyment out of circumventing their rule. :green:

Edie -- Yeah, I'm keeping the PO in business. Cool news about Michelle. I hope everything goes well for her!

Jennifer, you're the postal workers job security. My co-blogger Michelle Diener is moving from South Africa to Australia soon. She'll see your books on the shelves there.

Danette -- That's a great idea! I'll suggest it. Although they already have the automated machine where you can buy stamps -- and it never works. Such is life, I guess. :joecool:

Tia -- Honestly, it takes me so long to print the promo stuff, count out the bookmarks, and stuff the envelopes (usually a whole weekend) that by the time I'm done I just want to dump them at the post office and be done with it.

Besides, my dad works at a post office. Gotta keep him employed. :woodstock:

Why not buy a postage scale and print your postage through the USPS website? I'm not sure if you can print media mail through there, but it's worth looking into. Plus, there's Stamps.com, which has a monthly fee but may be worth it for you.

You can also buy sheets of 1 ounce stamps (postcard stamps), which are also very handy.

I have two postage scales from my Ebay days. One goes up to 2 pounds, and the other to 50. I still use them all the time.
