It is focused on two young men writing a comic called The Escapist, but the story is much bigger than that. It is the great American success story and the saddness of not being who you really are.

Not slow because the book is no good, slow because I am sooooo tired at bedtime! Anyway, I find it very interesting although the author uses doom-n-gloom foreshadowing I wish wasn’t there. I’d rather have the tragic event that seems to be predicted unfold naturally.

Even though it was the big buzz book three years ago, I still think it is an important read. I’m not sure how I feel about the world flattening. While I love the amount of imformation that is available now, I’m worried about the future and how a flat world will continue to impact America.
