Edie -- Yeah, I would have liked more of Liberty interacting with Gage and Hardy at the end, and less about her childhood. That would have made it a great read for me too.

Amy -- We ran a review of Certain Girls in the paper not too long ago. I've been meaning to get it at the library. You should get her a bib that says "My mommy's a librarian" too.

Certain Girls is a sequel to Good in Bed and is just as good. One of those laugh out loud one minute, cry the next kind of books.

The little one loves the books! She even has a bib that says "Read to Me"...given to me by another librarian, of course!

I had the same problem with Sugar Daddy that you had. I think I skimmed over the part with the boyfriend where she lost her virginity. Boring. I did read on and I did like it, but if it had been tighter I could have loved it.

Chasity -- It really was a good book. So good I gave it to my mom to read.

It's not a sequel, per se, but Blue-Eyed Devil tells Hardy's story. I think it came out in hardcover a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, I need to request it from my library too.

Amy -- Ahhh ... thanks super librarian! Now, I won't embarrass myself (too much) if I ever meet her.

I loved Good in Bed by Weiner. Did you know she used to work at a newspaper? Maybe in Philly or Pittsburgh. And hey, you got to get the munchkin hooked on reading ASAP. That's a mommy's job, especially a mommy who moonlights as a super librarian. :bubbles:

It's pronounced Clay-pis. (I heard an interview with her once at an ALA thing, I think.)

The newborn and I just read _Good in Bed_ and _Certain Girls_ by Jennifer Weiner. We both thought they were very good. (Hey, she likes to be read to and can't really understand me and I wanted to finish them, so we both win!)
