Midnight Frost ARC giveaway …

Midnight FrostI have one print ARC (advanced reading copy) for Midnight Frost that I’m going to give away here on my blog.

Midnight Frost is the fifth book in my Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy series that will be released on July 30.

Here is the description for the book. Note that this does have some spoilers for Crimson Frost, so if you haven’t read that far in the series yet, you may want to avoid reading the description.

Here we go again …

Just when it seems life at Mythos Academy can’t get any more dangerous, the Reapers of Chaos manage to prove me wrong. It was just a typical night at the Library of Antiquities — until a Reaper tried to poison me. The good news is I’m still alive and kicking. The bad news is the Reaper poisoned someone else instead.

As Nike’s Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I’m still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I’ve got to get my hands on the antidote fast — otherwise, an innocent person will die. But the only known cure is hidden in some creepy ruins — and the Reapers are sure to be waiting for me there …

Midnight Frost is up for pre-order at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iTunes, and all the other usual sites. The audio books will be available through Brilliance Audio and Audible.

Well, Midnight Frost and Spartan Frost are definitely summer reads I can’t wait to read; but Inferno by Dan Brown and Khaled Hosseini’s latest, the last installment of the Emperor’s Edge Series are also making the cut. I’d love an ARC for Midnight Frost.

Hope everyone’s having a great summer!

  37. Kaci says:

Tough question, there are so many good books that I’ve read and am looking forward to reading. Midnight Frost I’m looking forward to of course, it’s my new favorite series. 😉 But a really good one that I’ve read has been ‘Midnight’s Kiss’ by Donna Grant, I’m thinking about majoring in Archaeology so I was really interested in the book, and it had a Scottish guy which I am completely in love with. If a guy walked up to me off the street, was cute, had a Scottish accent and asked me to marry him, I’d say yes no questions asked. It had both magic and a lot of Scotland’s history which I am particularly interested in, even if most of it is legend or folklore, it’s what gives Scotland the depth that I find so fascinating. Although the whole time I was reading this book I became hooked into the story of a minor character and now I can’t wait to read her book ‘Midnight’s Temptation’. Unfortunately it doesn’t come out for another few months, curse my continuous need to root for the underdog! 😉

  38. danielle peters says:

A book that I have read and enjoyed was Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins in fact I actually finished it today. 🙂 Anyway it was an awesome read that had me laughing and sighing in contentment the whole way through it.

  39. Tammy says:

I am looking forward to reading Midnight Frost and Spartan Frost (yay!!!!) of course but also to continue on the saga of the Meg Series by Steve Alten-bring on book 5 Meg: Night Stalkers!!!!

  40. Amy says:

There are too many books I’m looking forward to this summer! The last installment of the Emperor’s Edge. Spartan Frost and Midnight Frost – FOR SURE. Cast in Sorrow.

  41. Giaochau Nguyen says:

Other than Spartan Frost and MIdnight Frost, I can’t wait for United We Spy by Ally Carter and Through the Zombie Glass by Gena Showalter. Thanks for the giveaway!

  42. Johnny Carruthers says:

At the moment, I’m reading (among other things) LIBERTY AND TYRANNY by Mark Levin, and will probably follow that up with AMERITOPIA. In terms of fiction, I’m reading ALLEGIANCE SWORN by Kylie Griffin, and THE MAN WHO WROTE THE BOOK by Erik Tarloff.

  43. Breana M. says:

Of course I’m looking forward to Midnight Frost, since after the ending of Crimson frost I’ve been dying to get my hands on it. I’m also looking forward to Ink by Amanda Sun since the setting happens to be so unique. 🙂

  46. Crystal W says:

Well, hard question – I hardly have enough time in the day for all the books I want to read 😉 …. but I’d have to truly say Midnight Frost. I just finished Crimson Frost and it was an awesome read (and yea I boo-hooed – I’m such a sap :)) … I can’t wait to find out who gets which weapons 🙂 and for Gwen and Logan to get back together. While I’m waiting my daughter wants us to read The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani.

  47. chris carey says:

It is hard waiting for the next book to come out. I love how you are relating things in your Mythos series to Elemental Assassin. I’d love to drop into the Pork Pit but think if I actually lived near Ashland I would end up spending too much stuffing myself on barbeque. I can relate to Gin’s and Gwen’s feeling of failure when someone close to them dies and they blame themselves for it. I still have feelings of that sort about my kids.

  48. Rosemary K. says:

I’m looking forward to reading Casting Shadows, Book 3 in the Ash Grove Chronicles by Amanda DeWees (a YA paranormal romance).

  49. Marina says:

I can’t wait to read Midnight Frost!! I just looooove Mythos series! I love how the books make me laugh out loud most of the time, everything feels real and like I’m in the book, and most importantly I love how I keep falling for Logan<3 I hope there will be a lot of him in Midnight Frost. I wonder what will happen next it's so exciting!!! How will Gwen and Logan meet again? Where? How long will they be apart?? Will Gwen fight back to back with Logan?? OMG there are so many questions that needs to be answered!

  67. Kristen@Seeing Night says:

I just finished a new series called One by LeighAnn Kopans. Its a Young Adult superhero story. Its follows four teens known as Ones, only gifted with half their power and believe they would never be as special as those with full super powers. They began to realizes they are powerful together and that the local Hub aka superhero work place is hiding a big secret 🙂 I really loved this one and as a comic book fan I loved it!
