Killer Frost released …

Book #6Killer Frost, the sixth and final book in my Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy series, has been released today. Huzzah! Huzzah!

This is the first time that I’ve really ended a series, so this is a bittersweet day for me. On one hand, I really enjoyed writing the series and spending time with the characters. But on the other hand, I also wanted to bring Gwen’s story to a close and provide an ending that I hope fans of the series will enjoy. I want to thank everyone for all the nice comments, e-mails, and letters about the series. They have really meant a lot to me.

Killer Frost is available in print, e-book, and audio book formats from the following sites:

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo / Brilliance Audio / Audible

And here is the book description:

I’ve battled the Reapers of Chaos before–and survived. But this time I have a Bad, Bad Feeling it’s going to be a fight to the death … most likely mine.

Yeah, I’ve got my psychometry magic, my talking sword, Vic–and even the most dangerous Spartan on campus at my side, in Logan freaking Quinn, but I’m no match for Loki, the evil Norse god of chaos. I may be Nike’s Champion, but at heart, I’m still just Gwen Frost, that weird Gypsy girl everyone at school loves to gossip about.

Then someone I love is put in more danger than ever before, and something inside me snaps. This time, Loki and his Reapers are going down for good … or I am.

Folks have asked me if I will ever write another Mythos Academy book. I’ll never say never. If I have an idea that I think would work well for Gwen or another character in the series, I might write another book or even a spinoff. We’ll see what happens. But, for now, Gwen’s story is finished.

I hope that everyone enjoys the finale to the series. Happy reading!

Why do I have to work today – I only want to read. I had the text-to-speech on my Kindle read to me on my way to work this a.m. and I only wanted to turn around and drive back home to listen to more. Lunch time hurry up! Sorry to see it end but my curiosity on how you are going to accomplish everything is making my anticipation worse.

LOL. Work always seems to get in the way of reading, doesn’t it? I hope that you enjoy the book. Happy reading and happy listening!

What a great series. It was truly sad to see it end but fingers crossed you’ll go back some time and tell us Rory’s story and give us a glimpse into Gwen’s future with all the rest of the gang. Thanks for a truly great series with a fantastic ending.

Yay! Congratulations on the release! I can’t wait to get my copy (someone pre-ordered it at chapters for me for a Christmas gift) and have already re-read the rest from the library. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us!

Jennifer, with the Mythos Academy series ending and the Elemental Assassin series only going for about two more books or so, can you tell us what’s coming up next for you? Will you be revisiting Bigtime now that you have more time available? (That question was inevitable, coming from me, knowing how much I love the Bigtime books!)

    • Jennifer+Estep says:

I’m actually hoping to write a few more books in my Elemental Assassin series. In the meantime, I’m mulling over some ideas for new series, both for urban fantasy and maybe another young adult (or even a new adult) series.

I am hoping to write/publish more in my Bigtime series, but my writing schedule is already pretty full for 2014. We’ll see what happens.

Yay!! I can’t wait for my copy to come in. 🙂 It’ll be so good to have questions answered but also sad because it’s the end of Gwen’s story. 🙁 Oh well, it’ll be a great read. 😀

Thanks! I appreciate that. I’m glad that you are enjoying the series. It is a little sad to end the series, but I hope that you enjoy the conclusion. Happy reading!

Thanks!! I hope you write some other e shorts about Gwen and the others (e.g. Rory ). I’ve read all the e shorts because I had to wait so long for the last book and these are so fantastic.
I’m so excited to read the end of the last book…
        Bye,
        Mandy

So excited…Amazon delivered it yesterday! Can’t wait to read it…wish I didn’t have so many other books I am reading right now. Heck, I think I’ll put them on hold!

I love this series! I finished it within a week. Anyway, I think it would be a good idea to make 1 last book telling about gwen and Logan’s future together and their daughter that have. Then, if you want to continue with that, you could tell how the daughter was living in the Loki-free world. I apologize if you don’t want to carry on with the series. I just loved the books so much! My favorite author used to be James Patterson, but you easily changed my mind. (Sorry James!!)

    • Jennifer Estep says:

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the series. I appreciate all the nice words about the books.

I’ll never say never, but as of right now, I don’t have any plans to write more books in the series.

  9. Jordyn says:

I understand. I’m looking forward to your new book and plan on loving it as much I did the mythos academy books. Thx for replying!!!!!
