Deadly Sting e-book on sale …

Deadly StingSo I have some cool news to share. Deadly Sting, Elemental Assassin #8, will be part of the Amazon 100 July promotion.

That means that the Deadly Sting e-book will be $1.99 at Amazon from July 1-31. Woot!

As of right now, the e-book is also on sale for $1.99 at:

Barnes & Noble

iTunes

Kobo

So it looks like most of the other online booksellers are matching the Amazon price. If you prefer another e-book format, you may want to check your online bookseller throughout the month to see if the price drops.

Also, here is the description for Deadly Sting, although please be mindful of spoilers:

Red is definitely my color. Good thing, because in my line of work, I end up wearing it a lot.

Most people shy away from blood, but for an assassin like me — Gin Blanco, aka the Spider — it’s just part of the job. Still, it would be nice to get a night off, especially when I’m attending the biggest gala event of the summer at Briartop, Ashland’s fanciest art museum. But it’s just not meant to be. For this exhibition of my late nemesis’ priceless possessions is not only the place to be seen, but the place to be robbed and taken hostage at gunpoint as well. No sooner did I get my champagne than a bunch of the unluckiest thieves ever burst into the museum and started looting the place.

Unlucky why? Because I brought along a couple of knives in addition to my killer dress. Add these to my Ice and Stone magic, and nothing makes me happier than showing the bad guys why red really is my color.

You can read the first chapter of the book here, although please note that this chapter has spoilers for Widow’s Web, so if you haven’t read that far in the series yet, you may want to avoid reading the chapter.

Anyway, if you’ve been wanting to get the e-book or add it to your e-book collection, you might consider checking out the promotion. Happy reading, everyone!

Very cool! I have all the books in both paperback and ebook format so this deal makes it that much easier to add to the collection.

Is the tenth book going to be the last Gin book? I don’t feel anywhere near ready to say goodbye.

Cool. Glad you are enjoying the series. I know a lot of folks like the e-book deals, so I try to post about them whenever I know about them.

I am hoping to write at least a few more books in the series. We’ll see what happens.
