By a Thread bookmarks …

Well, I finally have bookmarks available for By a Thread, the sixth book in my Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series. The front of the bookmarks is shown here. I really like the colors of this one. I think the blue and the green look cool together.

As always, the bookmarks are available to readers, libraries, bookstores, and anyone else who wants them. To get the bookmarks, I ask that folks send me a self-addressed stamped envelope with two stamps on it (88 cents currently). I ask that folks who are overseas to put $2 worth of U.S. stamps on your return envelope or to include that much in international postage coupons with your return envelope. This helps me cover postage costs.

Also, be sure your return envelope is big enough to hold the bookmarks, which are 2 by 8 inches. In addition to By a Thread, I also have bookmarks left for the other books in the Elemental Assassin series and the books in my Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy series. If you want more information on how to get the bookmarks, e-mail me.

Also, here’s a description of By a Thread.

Note: The description has a few mild spoilers, so if you haven’t read Spider’s Revenge yet, you may want to skip reading this.

I never thought I’d need a vacation from being an assassin …

My name is Gin Blanco, and I’m the assassin the Spider. All the Ashland’s lowlifes are gunning for me and trying to make a name for themselves by taking out the Spider. So I think it’s a good idea to get out of Ashland for a while until things cool down.

So I’m headed south to a swanky beach town, along with my baby sister, Bria, for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when an old friend of Bria’s is threatened by a powerful vampire with deadly elemental magic, it looks like I’ll have to dig my silverstone knives out of my suitcase after all. But this time, not even my own Ice and Stone power may be enough to save me from coming home in a pine box …

By a Thread is up for preorder at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The book will be released on Feb. 28, 2012.
