Snowbound …

You know, it’s not so bad being snowbound. Not that I’m truly snowbound. We only got about 5 inches of snow where I live, and it’s melting fast. Of course, I know that 5 inches is nothing compared to the massive amounts of snow that my friend super librarian Amy gets up in her neck of the woods in Pennsylvania. But 5 inches is fairly significant for where I live farther south.

Still, I’ve gotten a lot accomplished today — sacked up some bookmarks to mail out, did the same to some copies of Spider’s Bite that go to contest winners, updated the Web site a bit, etc. The only other thing that I really want to accomplish this weekend is editing/finishing Web of Deceit, the free short story that I’m working on to go along with Web of Lies.

I’d also like to actually read a book this weekend. I’ve been woefully slack in my reading lately. There’s just been too much going on with the launch of Spider’s Bite. But maybe I’ll change that tonight …

Wherever you are, I hope you stay warm and safe this weekend! ;-)

  1. Every Librarian is Super : ) ITs sad, I live north of Toronto, Ontario and we have nothing for snow — I’m Cdn dammit, I want my SNOW.
PS Go pour a glass of wine and read a book, with snow you must stop working and read

  2. Jennifer — I agree. Every librarian is super. ;-)

That’s weird that you guys don’t have snow, especially that far up in Canada. But I really like your idea about the wine and good book!

  3. Aww… the librarians love you, too! :) Hope you find time to get some reading done today. I am hoping to do the same thing tonight. Just got my copy of Spider’s Bite! ;)

  4. Cool. I hope you enjoy it! ;-)

  5. I know what you mean! I am in Knoxville, TN, and we got 2–3 inches, and the whole city seemed to shut down over the weekend. Cat-opoly, X-Men Comics, hot chocolate, Neil Gaiman and Charlaine Harris have made up the majority of the past two days. I just found out about your books, and I’m looking forward to reading them!

  6. Lisa — Hey, sounds like a good way to spend the weekend to me. ;-)

I hope you enjoy my books. Happy reading!

  7. In Wisconsin we’re having an unseasonably mild winter. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’m so looking forward to spring/summer. Those are MY seasons.

Congrats on the release of Spider Bites. That book is awesome.

  8. Hi, Liz! Thanks so much. I’m glad you enjoyed the book.

Fall is actually my favorite season. I don’t care much for summer. Too humid down there!
