Finished A Creed Country Christmas by Linda Lael Miller. This is a historical western romance that features the Creed family.
It’s almost Christmas in Montana, and Juliana Mitchell has nowhere to go — and neither do the children that she’s been teaching at a local school. But in steps widowed rancher Lincoln Creed, who takes in Juliana and her students. Lincoln is looking for a governess for his young daughter, and he thinks that Juliana will do just fine. What he doesn’t count on is falling in love with her …
I’m a big western fan, and I’ve read a couple of Miller’s other books. They’re what I would call comfort reads — just good solid westerns. Nothing really groundbreaking happens, and you know where the story is going every step of the way, but the books are still well-done.
This book is no exception. The romance between Lincoln and Juliana is sweet, and the Christmas backdrop adds a lot of sentimental moments to the story. If you’re looking for a quick read to get you in the holiday spirit. Check this one out. Thumbs up.
