A good day …

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Food, football, and family — what could be better than all that?

I also think it’s nice to take a moment and remember everything that I have to be grateful for — my family, friends, and significant other; the fact that everyone is in pretty good health; that we all have enough food and roofs over our heads; the fact that my newspaper isn’t among the many that have folded this year which means I still have a job; that I sold a new book series …

I could go on, but you get the idea. What are you guys grateful for this year? Share in the comments.

  1. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday too. How can you go wrong with the food, family, and for us there are games.

I am very thankful for my family, their health, that we have what it takes to make us happy and satisified, and I am also thankful that this year is almost over because I have to tell you that it has been quite a year for us!

    Happy Thanksgiving!!

  2. Lori — I totally agree. It’s just a great holiday all the way around.

I hope the new year is better for you than it sounds like this one has been.

    Happy turkey day!

  3. A nice reminder about Thanksgiving!

I’m thankful for my loving husband, sweet — yet rowdy toddlers, stable job, and warm home.

Oh and I’m also thankful that I’m on the high end of the range for my weight (based on my height) — it means I have enough food to eat.

  4. Esk — I hope you have a great holiday!
