I love, love, love Project Run­way. The con­tes­tants, the judges, the wacky designs … it’s the best real­ity show on TV.

And it’s a romance novel just wait­ing to happen.

Think about it. You’ve got all the ele­ments of a good romance. Lov­able char­ac­ters (Kayne!), divas (Laura), strange folks (Vin­cent, anyone?), drama, cat­fights, peo­ple strug­gling to over­come obsta­cles (mainly the weird chal­lenges, like make some­thing out of trash). All that needs to hap­pen is to have love blos­som between two of the con­tes­tants — or a con­tes­tant and a judge.

Can the two love­birds remain true to their hearts? Or will they back­stab each other to make it to the next round? Will the other con­tes­tants find out about someone’s secret sewing ses­sion with the guest judge of the week? Or will their illicit love affair destroy them both? Tune in next week on Project Run­way: Romance.  

Wouldn’t that make for a great book? Just remem­ber, I thought of it first.
